Accomplishments’: kipping pull-up without band, running up the hill in front of the box, running ½ mile without stopping under 5 minutes and weighted squats (never thought I could do these with weight!)
Goals: Run 10 minute mile and handstand push-up are my next 2 goals.
Favorite WOD: Crossfit Total – I love to see how I have progressed!
Why do you CrossFit: I started Crossfit because I was living a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I had done triathlons in the past and got bored with them and just stopped exercising all together. Liz Nakata told me about Crossfit and I decided to check it out. The day I came was Nerf Wars and I had never had so much fun working out! I love the variety of the workouts and how they each push me both physically and mentally.
Anything about you, you want us to know: My husband recently joined Crossfit and I am very excited to see his success with it!

HQ WOD 060107 (Time)
Ten rounds for time of:
3 Weighted Pull-ups, 45 pounds
5 Strict Pull-ups
7 Kipping Pull-up
For weighted pull-ups place a 45 pound dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set.
Post time and number of sets to completion.

Pablo, nice work on the Merrill Down and Dirty Mud Run! Did you have a great time?
Yes, Kyla. We had a great time! They had a 100 yard dash mud run for the little ones. My four year old and I ran it together! She can't stop talking about it! I am so proud of her! She was jumping over walls, and crawling under nets, and of course the best part, jumping in the mud! She looked like a Marine taking on those obstacles!
